Obituary for Louise Ruth Grenager

Louise R Grenager, 89, of Missoula, passed away on Oct. 21, 2018, of natural causes at the Beehive homes of Missoula. She was born March 9, 1929, in Chicago, Illinois, to Ludwig and Anna Haller. The Family moved to Missoula where she went to grade school and then graduated from Missoula County High School.

She married Bill Anderson in 1949. They had three children. They were later divorced. She married Lyle Grenager in 1978.

She worked at Cold Springs School as a secretary for a number of years. She then worked at the Missoulian and Marie's Arteries. Louise always enjoyed having a beautiful yard. She really enjoyed watching and feeding her birds. She also loved watching her grandkids play sports. Louise and Lyle rarely missed a Cubs game when it was on TV. They both celebrated when the Cubs finally won the world series in 2016.

She is preceded in death by her parents Ludwig and Anna. Sisters Helen and Bertha and brother Fred and daughter in law Suzanne Anderson. Survivors include her husband Lyle of Nine Mile. Two daughters Stacey (Bill) of Great Falls, Doreen of Missoula, son Larry of Frenchtown and caring step-children Karen of Missoula Scoshy (Rob) of Missoula, Kim of Lolo, Karl (Nancy) of Nine Mile. 12 grandkids and six great-grandkids.

Cremation has taken place per her wishes. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
